Share songs about the Irish on and near the water, salty or fresh. Maritime songs of ships and sailors, their behavior at sea or in ports of call, their women left behind, or emigration/deportation by ship. Also songs about rivers, lakes and streams, or about fish or other seafood, etc.

Rick's Bio: I was a boy soprano in a serious church choir meeting four times a week. I quit when I was the oldest boy soprano and switched to trombone to play in my High School marching band and didn’t return to singing until nearing retirement 20 years ago. Since then I have sung bass in various high-spirited choirs, hosted a Gospel Train radio show, and sung regularly with the Vancouver Folk Song Society – especially their sea shanty group, The Lazy Jacks.  The COVID conditions have allowed me to “sail the cyber seas” to sing regularly with folks in several international ports of call.
