Thanks to all who came! This was a FREE festival at APU, on the lawn in front of the Carr-Gottstein Building. Local performers entertained on an outdoor stage all day, and will include short sets from guest artists Brian Conway and John Walsh from New York! Irish music, dance, and other Irish-related workshops took place of the festival.
The evening concert featured our guest artists at Grant Hall.
Here is a list of local performers who were featured on the outdoor stage throughout the day: Linda Yarborough, Dawn Berg, Cook Inlet Ceili Band, Red Cap & the Galway Boys, Irish Dance Academy of Alaska, Crooked Road, Midnight Sun Cloggers, Philip Price & Natalie Harrison, The Derry Aires, Alaska Treble Makers, Rogues & Wenches.
This year's Galway Days Irish Festival was dedicated to Mary Digney, who was a founding member of the Irish Club of Alaska.

Brian Conway A premiere Irish-American Fiddler, Conway is skilled in the Sligo-style and has won numerous All-Ireland fiddling competitions. His repertoire is steeped in tradition. John Walsh accompanies Brian Conway for the Galway Days Festival and concert. He is an accomplished Irish guitarist and recording artist, and runs a music center in New York for teaching, music therapy and recording studio. www.johnwalshguitar.com
