Northern Lights Celtic Dancers will present a
St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at the Performing Arts Center Discovery Theatre on Sunday, March 4th at 4p.m.
This from Miriam P. Keegan Dean "Our dance troupe will present a recital including traditional and state of the art Irish dance routines.  Our recital will also feature the Midnight Sun Cloggers and some members of the West Anchorage High School Choir."

Sunday, March 11 The Irish Club will be having a "finger food" potluck social from 2 to 4pm at Celtic Treasures for anyone interested in finding out more about the club or for members interested in getting to know others in the club, we would encourage all members to attend and to bring your friends and family. The Irish Club will provide Tea.

Local Band Crooked Road (Maura Walsh, Ben Saylor, Denise Martin, Jim Kerr & John Walsh) will be playing at the following locations:
Empty Bowl Project, March 10 11:00 - 2:00 Benefit for Beans Cafe at the Egan Center.
McGinley's on the 16 March, 830pm - 1230am.
Taproot on the 17 from 10pm to 2am.

March 18th from 4 to 7pm at McGinley's Pub.

Mick Moloney & Dana Lyn Alaska Tour

Mick Moloney and Dana Lyn will be touring in Alaska in March, 2012, this is tour is being put together and supported by the Irish Club of Alaska and with a generous donation from Frank Matulich.

23rd through the 29th, a list of venues will be up soon. 

23 March Mick Moloney & Dana Lyn will perform at the University of Alaska Anchorage, Fine Arts 150. This a being presented by the Student Union. 7.30pm Tickets will be $20 I believe.

24 March Mick Moloney & Dana Lyn will perform for Denali Arts Council at the Hanger in Talkeetna. 7.30pm

25 March Mick Moloney & Dana Lyn will perform at Kenai Peninsula College, Soldotna.

29 March Seward Arts Council in cooperation with Seward Community Foundation Present Mick Moloney and Dana Lyn In Concert
Thursday March 29th, 2012; Doors at 6:45pm   Show starts at 7:00pm Seward High School Theater

Laurence Nugent will be here to perform one night at a house concert on March 21st. If you are interested in attending this concert, please contact Donna at fiddlers@gci.net , so we have an idea how many are wanting to attend as this will be a very limited seating concert.

2012 Winter Folk Fest - Saturday, February 11, 2012
Time: 1:00pm until 11:00pm at the Pioneer Park Theater.

KUAC will once again be recording this year's festival to be aired as "The Best of the Fest" on 89.9 FM.

Be sure to visit the Fairbanks Folk Fest membership table to become a new or renewing member or to purchase a local artist CD. Also be sure to visit the local arts & craft vendors that will be set up!
